There are several alternative walks on the Hopetoun Ravensthorpe Railway Heritage Walk Trail - Desmond to Ravensthorpe - about 16 kilometres, takes three to four hours with alternatives. Hopetoun Trailhead Loop - 14 kilometres, takes three to four hours. Desmond to Kundip Section - nine kilometres, takes about three to four hours. Kundip to Lee Creek - 13 kilometres, allow five to six hours and Kundip Figure of Eight is five kilometres, allow one to two hours.
