For a fascinating cultural experience, join one of our experienced Yura guides for an informative stroll to Old Wilpena Station, one of South Australia's oldest and best preserved pastoral settlements. Walk along Wilpena Creek past magnificent river red gums with stunning views of Wilpena Pound in the distance. Learn about the landscape and bio-diversity from the perspective of the Adnyamathanha people. An easy to moderate 2km walk.

Wasn't sure what to expect as we ended up being the only people on the tour. Our guide was great though. He pointed out native plants and trees as well as their uses. He gave us an overview of culture and patiently answered all our questions. Fascinating to hear the history of the aboriginal people in that area and an eye opening experience. Would recommend to anyone as the walk was flat and easy and suitable for all abilities
